Summary of Experience
Kate is a Senior Manager for RSM’s Family Wealth Services group. RSM is the fifth largest U.S. assurance, tax and consulting firm and the leading firm focused on the middle market with 6,700 people in 75 cities domestically and access to more than 32,000 people in 100 countries around the world. RSM is focused on serving clients with a strong local touch and a high level of partner attention.
Kate’s primary expertise is in tax matters related to tax compliance and planning for high net-worth individuals and families and their related trusts and entities. She also works with multi-generational families on wealth transfers, family wealth preservation, and charitable transfers.

Kate began her career in 2001 with KPMG, LLP in Houston and later transferred to New York City with KPMG, where her focus was in serving high net worth clients, including estates, trusts, and real estate partnerships. She joined Margolis, Phipps & Wright, P.C. in July 2008 and joined the partners and staff members in opening the Houston office of RSM US LLP in December 2013.
